My wife and I had an earlier start to our day before we were to leave Monterey and head up to SF and were looking to get a bakery item or two.and found this bakery within a few minutes of the Casa Munras Hotel. We walked down to the bakery and found a smaller, older building but it felt warm and inviting at the same time - it was very neat to come across. A nice selection of French pastries. Good cappuccino and latte.
Family get away stop by this bakery. Fresh bake goods where delicious great customer service. Very busy but worth the wait. Bakery build in a very old house which gave the bakery its own personality. Definitely will be coming back.
Loved kouign amann. Almond croissant good too
