Extremely disappointed with Parker Boat Rentals. We reserved a pontoon boat on June 5 for a trip scheduled on June 21. The night before our reservation, I received a call informing me that our boat was canceled due to it being returned damaged. While I understand that accidents happen, the only solution offered was a refund—nothing else. WATCH THIS ONE be very careful and have attention to detail !! we rented a 16ft pontoon boat with friends for a short river run . Spent beautiful uneventful day on river Upon return to fuel dock which they were waiting (don’t know how they new we were returning EARLY) they went straight for a prop inspection and proceeded to say the prop was damaged and told us it was $320 which IMO was not - So be diligent !!! We had a very similar experience as Slutzk (be sure to read his review from a few weeks earlier). We were impressed with the initial level of service offered by Parker Boat Rental which included a $20 boat taxi to and from Emerald Cove Resort. However, we immediately became concerned by the rental agreement which discloses a $320 charge if the prop is damaged upon return. Alright heres a real review.... Be careful with this place. Make sure you take very very detailed and clear pictures, and let them know you are really inspecting the boat. Especially their props, they use black painted ones instead of stainless so even normal paint wear they will make you pay (which is nearly impossible to avoid). Which mind you is 300$ and they are charging you double what the prop is actually worth lol. Give me a break. awesome place! first time using them this weekend. Kyle and Daniel are awesome both go way above and beyond! I rented 2 boats and a seadoo over the course of 2 days and everything went very well. the staff is super accommodating. 10 stars out of 5!
