My senior friend Bill was placed in Park Vista by some mean-spirited (well meaning?) church members who took his house and confined him to a 460-Sq/Ft room with barely enough room to turn his wheelchair around. I lived in a Navy Barracks Room that was larger than these tiny rooms. Bill tells me that the staff often wakes him up late at night to take his meds after he has already gone to sleep! My mother in law lives in one of the independent living apartments and the facility has failed to provide the promised perks of living here. She hasn't been provided with any housekeeping services, she's asked maintenance to replace some light bulbs for her for months with no assistance, and the facility has failed to provide her with any way to get mail delivered.
