I really enjoyed living here and Nicole is awesome!
I rented my mother an apartment for two years at Park South Apartments which was very near to my home in Fisher Park. My mother loved it there and would still be living there if she could have continued to live independently. She felt very safe there and loved to ride her mobility scooter around the nearby parks and visiting with her neighbors at her little sitting area just outside her apartment door. Nicole the property manager is absolutely fantastic. She responds quickly and fixes issues as soon as possible. The apartments are situated in a great spot next to the park and just a few blocks away from downtown. There is a train nearby that passes through often and is audible from inside unit. Nothing earplugs can’t fix, but something to be aware of.
I’ve lived here for five months and can honestly say it’s one of the best apartments I’ve ever had. The complex is small and intimate, the management is attentive, the park-like setting is a joy to wake up to, and units have assigned parking - some of which are even covered. The building is a concrete structure and I’ve not noticed any noises from the shared walls. Yes, I hear the train occasionally, but this is to be expected considering the vicinity of the tracks. It is an old apartment building with paper thin walls that you can hear through, plus a train that comes by pretty frequently. Nothing earplugs can’t fix, but definitely something to be aware of.
