Nice apartments for what they are….apartments. Staff is certainly friendly and will help you in heartbeat, but you have to deal with apartment life. You can’t control what your neighbors do, and since the units are all so close together, that can be good or bad depending on location of your unit. Some units face the dumpsters. Have fun with that. But like I said, staff is the best aspect of working here, other tenants not so much.
10/10 would recommend Park South to anyone considering. For starters, the location is perfect! You'll be nestled right within the beautiful Fisher Park area yet your within walking distance to the heart of downtown GSO. The apartments themselves are beautiful and well kept, I especially loved the modern looking light floors combined with the light grey walls that were in my unit! I really enjoyed living here and Nicole is awesome!
I rented my mother an apartment for two years at Park South Apartments which was very near to my home in Fisher Park. My mother loved it there and would still be living there if she could have continued to live independently. She felt very safe there and loved to ride her mobility scooter around the nearby parks and visiting with her neighbors at her little sitting area just outside her apartment door. Nicole the property manager is absolutely fantastic. She responds quickly and fixes issues as soon as possible. The apartments are situated in a great spot next to the park and just a few blocks away from downtown. There is a train nearby that passes through often and is audible from inside unit. Nothing earplugs can’t fix, but something to be aware of.
