We visit our friend regularly who lives on 8th floor in 200 Westfield Drive. Its been 6 months now that the hallway smells like cigarette smokes. Our friend has been using room freshers outside her apartment because the smell has been entering her apartment. Multiple complaints to superintendent has been made by multiple people. Renovations going on 365 Days . Loud Noise really makes you think why the hell you moved here. Ignore renting here at all costs.
I have been living in this building for 6 years, and everything started going downhill after the management changed. Since then, I have repeatedly been told every 6 months that I “owe money or overdue,” which appears to be due to rent increases. I have paid once I got that kind of notice all the time. However, I have never received any official N1 Notice of Rent Increase, which is legally required in Ontario. Instead, I am only informed afterward that I have an outstanding balance. Parks will run you out of business so they can get their rent increase. do not trust these landlords- very questionable operations
Do not move here, this place doesn't care about there tenants and will do anything possible to ignore you. They don't answer the phones if there are any concerns and if you leave a message no one will return your calls. They also don't enforce their policies, allowing contractors to do what they want with no repercussions. The rent is high and I would look else where for living in this city.
