I have visited my unfair share of Audiologists and Hearing Centers with varying degrees of success in the years that I have been wearing hearing aids. Park Place Hearing Center recently repaired my in canal hearing aid. The device’s retrieval wire had become detached, rendering it un-insertable. I called several local Hearing Centers to see if they could reattach (glue) the wire, but none had the technical ability to do so, but all offered to send it back to the MFG for a repair cost of over $370 and a seven day loss of use.
