tl,dr: I absolutely adore living at Park Lane Towers. Throughout my life, I have lived in many different buildings, with both corporate and private landlords. PLT is easily the best experience I've ever had. Not only are the buildings extremely well maintained, but both the staff(!!) and broader community are incredibly welcoming. I've always been aggressively anti-HOA, but living here has shown me that a well-run HOA can significantly improve the experience of living in a building, PARTICULARLY a condo. WARNING: THIS IS A RETIREMENT HOME. If you like rigid, overreaching HOAs, shag carpet, and old people smell, this is your place! Expect to be constantly and incessantly harassed by all of your retired neighbors who have nothing better to do. Location is amazing if you can put up with the geriatric gestapo. Will be a perfect location in 5-10 years when there can be a complete culture change at this facility.
