I recently booked 2 rooms for a quick trip based on the marketing stating it offered airport shuttle service. I called the concierge prior to our arrival and after I had the rooms booked for over a month and was then told they offered no such service. Let's just say my discussion with the floor/assistant manager was a waste of time! Meanwhile it cost my group over $200 in UBER fees in addition to the $$$/room rate. Stayed for a special occasion and the service was faultless. Check-in was smooth, room was immaculate, and the whole place feels quiet and refined. Shout out to the concierge for sorting dinner plans and making it effortless.

I’ve stayed at Park Hyatt Melbourne a few times before and have always considered it one of the better hotels in Melbourne, which makes this last stay even more disappointing. While staying there recently, I was having drinks with a group of friends at the hotel. Without my permission, everything ended up being charged to my room. Extremely old world, featuring broken door locks, under powered air con and the duty manager that refused her name working on the morning of the 27th of Feb 2026 was the most rude, entitled and efficious young lady one would ever wish to avoid at all costs. My advice is stay away from this woke little old place and stay at the QT where people welcome you on your holiday with smiles, politeness, cool air and doors that open.
