I had a great stay at Park Hyatt Chicago and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The location is one of the best parts of this hotel. It is close to many popular attractions, shopping, restaurants, and the lake, so it was very easy to get around without spending a lot of time traveling. Hey guests. When you get sub par service, it's because this hotel is habitually understaffed in most departments. It is not because the employees lack in any way. They are just stretched thin. Be kind to them. Raise concern with the higher ups instead of with them. You're paying a lot of money to be there and deserve best things for it. 1. The location is perfect. It’s surrounded by plenty of clothing stores and restaurants (like Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, and Ralph Lauren). You can also walk to North Avenue Beach in about 30 minutes—I highly recommend visiting at sunset for some great photos! 2. The staff is amazing and friendly and very helpful. The room was gorgeous and had a beautiful design that included a jacuzzi that could look at the TV in the living room. All in all, it was a really great stay. Can't emphasize enough how nice and friendly the staff was. Hotel is in the middle of the city, prime location.
