Last Doc you might see, seriously. This place was far below unsatisfactory! I went there, they misdiagnosed my dog, game me antibiotics and charges me $500. Few weeks later problem still not solved, and i later realized they did a rubbish test on him just to charge me!!! beware! Dont take your pet here, it might be your last visit to the doctor!
Superb care! All of my animals have been patients at Park East since 2000. Our vet is Dr Monica Kennedy, who cared for our beloved cat, Oscar, through a variety of illnesses, including terminal cancer. I cannot say enough good things about her and the PEAH staff. Oscar was euthanized at home in the most gentle, dignified and kind manner possible. Dr Kennedy and the staff take superb care of our wonderful dog, Bart. They are the best! Our animals will always come here.
Park East Animal Hospital is the gold standard!! we took our 12 yr old poodle to Park East on Sunday at 9am and were met by Dr. Leah Jackson. She was professional, empathetic, and incredibly smart. She immediately took our limp, sad dog and had him worked up and diagnosed his illness. Dr. Jackson recommended leaving our dog overnight after he received fluids and meds but I chose to take him home to return in the morning. Needless to say, I was wrong and Dr. Jackson so right. She spoke with me at least 4 times on the phone to... read more
Its worth the trip I was recommended to Park East by a friend who has used them for 25 years. I live on Long Island, and spend much of my time in Queens. I bred my Champion dog to another Champion I wanted a vet I could count on. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Berman is full of the knowledge 30 years of experience could give. I highly recommend this place
Quality care for a premium price! I took my two dogs to Park East for their annual exam and walked out shocked by the bill. Although the exam was thorough and the vet was extremely knowledgeable I just didn??t feel that is was worth the money. There are too many vets in NYC that are just as good for a fraction of the price. The staff was not helpful at all.
Great in an emergency My puppy was about 2 and I took him to my local vet because his stomach was acting up. She took X-Rays and freaked out, telling me my dog had something sharp in his stomach that looked like it was about to cut him up inside and I needed to take him immediately to the emergency clinic and he would probably need surgery. Needless to say I was extremely upset. So I took my dog to Park East which is open 24 hours and a young, sweet vet saw my dog. He was incredibly gentle and kind and assured me that everyt... read more
