When I called to make inquiries and book an appointment, the lady that spoke was rude, impatient and lacking compassion. Given the pain and stress I was already under from my injury, I hoped that calling to have my questions answered and book an appointment would be encouraging and reassuring that I was taking a step closer to a solution. Terrible experience. I had a confirmed appointment with the orthopaedic surgeon at 11:00 AM, but when I arrived, I was told I was an hour late because they had changed my appointment to 10:00 AM without my knowledge or consent. The receptionist was dismissive and rude, shrugging her shoulders and insisting the time was changed with my approval — which was completely false. I had a very bad skiing accident which required a highly skilled surgeon to address, including skeletal, ligament and further soft tissue repair. One year on, Richard has delivered exactly what we hoped for, if not a slightly better outcome given the severity of the injury. It was a tough, tough road physically and mentally; pain and sleep deprivation in particular were harder to navigate than I anticipated.
