my wife and i booked a drift boat trip on the Upper Section of the Green River in wyoming and had the pleasure of being guided by Jake Smith. my wife didn't fish but enjoyed a nice day floating through some beautiful landscapes. Excellent river. Both guides were great, but not sure why we only fished in one spot all morning. I know we had 2 beginner fisherman and I’m sure it was easier for the guides, but for myself, I’ve never been with a guide that didn’t explore more options. My wife did very well, catching 11 fish. I caught 2. Maybe the river was too crowded to move around, but that was never mentioned. I would rate this trip 5 out of 10. I had my first fly fishing experience last week. My guide was so much fun to hang out with and so helpful. Shout out to my guide Scott! I did end up falling in the river shortly after we started our trip when I slipped on a rock haha. My guide was so nice about it and helped me get dried off and back to our adventure. I ended up catching two fish on my own after his demo! He was so attentive and ensured that I understood everything he was saying. I highly recommend learning how to fly fish with this company.
