On 1/9/24 at 11:30 in the afternoon I was dropping off groceries and I had a very bad experience with the door man he was very rude and seems to be having a bad day. I arrive at this location and he came out and was not polite at all. Seems like he was rushing me verses asking me who the items were for and what’s the details of the drop off. Unsure if it was the color of my skin or if he is like that with all drop off workers but it definitely needs to be improved.
I was just walking my dog and a privileged person in a new black Lincoln suv nearly hit me and my small dog walking on the side walk in front of this building. His bulky car drove onto the pedestrian side walk and he didn’t stop until I banged on his car. He could have rolled over me and my dog. This driveway is dangerous and we are reporting it to the city as a hazard to public safety. The doorman did nothing but stand there silent. Premium lake shore property. Beautiful, modern remodel of a double unit condo with excellent city and lake views. Very secure, staffed entry. Secure parking garage. Very well maintained landscape and community of historic properties and parks. Only a minutes walk to the Lakeshore and Lincoln Parks, zoo, conservatory, childrens playgrounds.
