Had a nice picnic. Kiddos had fun at the playground. Before we left we walked across the street and got to see 6 manatees swimming by the pier. Hope the pier is fixed soon, we could have seen them better. Park is off the trail so you can bike there.
This is a great launching point for kayak journeys to Caladesi. When I was there, almost no one else was using the parking lot on the water. There's a gate down to a sort of dilapidated seawall, it's fine for a small kayak.
There is a simple and efficient training zone with pull-up and parallel bars
Great park to catch the sunset in Dunedin! Plenty of parking and you can walk out in the pier and enjoy some of the best sunset views in Florida! Across the street is Eddy’s bar if you’re looking for a drink and a burger or wings afterwards. (Do me a favor and enjoy your evening but don’t tell everybody up north about Dunedin this town can be our secret) Head over to downtown Dunedin after dinner and be sure to tip your servers!
