Dermatologist My one child saw the doctor for cystic acne. He seemed very competent. He initially prescribed a very expensive medicine which didn't work. I called and his office indicated another visit (and copay) and he prescribed another more reasonably priced medicine which worked a bit better. My other child also saw him for acne and he determined that they didn't need anything, which seemed reasonable given his very learned explanation. Their acne has, as he indicated, cleared up on its own.
