First time coming to the cafe/bakery and was a little overwhelmed by the choices! There is a wide range of options from sandwiches, to croissants stuffed with meats, cheeses, fruit, creams, and more. The staff was friendly, the seating area clean and well lit, and besides the flimsiest plastic cutlery, everything was great!
Really really surprised by this place. On the surface it seems way too bougie (like out of my tax bracket) especially in the location it’s in. But my girlfriend and I came in today and were able to share two really large pastries (a huge donut and a beautiful looking buffalo chicken pizza thing) and big iced latte, alongside a bread bun for my daughter all for less than $25. I have never been inside the bakery downtown in Cincinnati so cannot review the atmosphere. I have ordered and had it delivered three times, and received it once for a birthday gift while in hospital! The pastry level is off the chart. Lamination and lightness of crumb is incredible too! The custard is exquisite and subtle - from use within danish, pastry, doughnut and tart. I am convinced this is what heaven looks like for me. My sister raves about this place and now I can see why. There is quite literally something for every type of sweet or savory tooth in this shop. Everything I tried was delicious and cannot wait to go back and get more. I got some treats for my boyfriend and his parents and they too loved them.
