It’s a cake shop I really like, but it’s such a shame they did something really bad today. I ordered the mango coconut cake. It looked fresh and delicious in the first photo, but they served me a slice that looked like it had been sitting out for days—exactly what you see in the second photo! Can't say the bread and pastries are the best around in the area but I'm grateful they open pretty late so it's been a good back up plan when I want to grab some sweets. The cakes are usually a hit or a miss. I usually get their croissant as it's the safe choice for me. The mochi donuts for me is a bit disappointing as the texture isn't as good as most mochi donut locations.
Got our order wrong
Very disappointing. The cucumber in my chicken salad had visible white mold on it, which can clearly be seen in the photos. Because it was mixed with the chicken and other vegetables, I could not safely continue eating the salad. This is not simply a matter of taste or freshness—it is a serious food-safety and quality-control issue. I expect a full refund and hope the business thoroughly reviews its food-storage and preparation procedures.
