I pre-ordered pastries from this store. Apparently they have an agreement with Door Dash for delivery. The Dasher who picked up my food from the store wasn’t able to contact me, my phone was off. Shortly after the delivery time, I received a message that he handed me the delivery. This is untrue, and he never handed me the delivery. He said he left it outside of my apartment building, but he doesn’t have a photo. Since the Dasher said he handed me the delivery, there wasn’t an option to take a photo. I ordered a Blueberry cream cheese Pastry and Almond Pastry but I didn’t enjoy it that much. It didn’t feel like it was fresh. I have had pastry at New York’s Paris Baguette and there I had a good experience.
The quality of the pastries were not that good. Felt like they were not fresh. In comparison to the branches in Chicago Downtown this is a very mediocre place.
Their hazelnut & Nutella chocolate cake is my go to choice for dessert with my family! I could eat it everyday!
