Literally the only purpose of going here is to camp out for hours with your laptop and the free WiFi. That’s what everyone does here. The pastries? Stale and inedible. The espresso? Funky and burnt tasting. Every time. I’ve had lattes, pastries, and the sandwiches multiple times before making this review. It’s not a fluke. It’s just bad. Go to Variety Coffee across the street for coffee and food. Night and day difference.
The desserts and coffee are totally fine but it’s the people running this place that are the real treasure
I visit this place from time to time, and the fresh bread is genuinely very good. However, it seems like there are occasions when items that should not be sold are still being offered. I just had a coconut cream croissant, and there was no coconut cream inside at all. The croissant itself was completely dry and hardened for some reason, noticeably smaller than usual, and clearly not fresh.
