Severely overpriced for the quality you get. Spent 75 dollars for 5 pastries and 3 slices of cake. One pastry was literally a hamburger bun fried in grease and had sliced strawberry and what was a light green mousse like substance that was suppose to be pistachio but tasted nothing like it. Rest of the pastries was dry and tasted old and cake was pretty dry and flavorless. I'd say the only business they get is from tourists not knowing any better because they see a flashy name.
We were on the hunt for a sweet treat and found slices of a delicious red velvet cake and rainbow cake. The red velvet cake was probably the best I’ve ever had!
Great spot for European style pastries. Coffee is ok - they use Lavazza but burned it in my case (a simple cup of decaf). Very very slow service for coffee when it’s busy. Restaurant is too small for its popularity, and hard to move through, which is important because they use a self-serve style for the pastries. Needs more space! Worth a trip though because the food is great.
While the atmosphere is nice, the bakery items feel like they were shipped in a package and then heated in store. This is further compounded by the coffee being made by a machine similar to a gas station. 3 pastry and medium coffee $23. If you want some coffee and pastry in the afternoon I'd rather just not have it and eat something else than go here again.
