Priced right and well under what I expected for Easton, good esthetics, great atmosphere! Worth a visit.
I’ve been to the other PB location so I expected the same quality of food. I was wrong. I wish I was exaggerating when I say that this place is highly unsanitary. There are large flies…everywhere, alive and dead, in and out of the glass and some imbedded in the pastries. Today, they managed to badly burn almost ALL of the pastries. The only items that were not burnt were the pre-packaged cheesecakes and the sliced cakes at checkout. I have 1 MAJOR!!! health code complaint: • Fruit fly infestation (not just a few stragglers in the center cupboard. I’m guessing 2 days of unattended breeding. The video shows 5-6 adult fruit flies at any given time. The fruit flies were the worst on Monday afternoon (around 3pm), so I’m guessing whoever is responsible for Sunday’s closing shift is not doing a good job.
Came here for an after-dinner sweet treat. I think I would have liked the ambiance more if I were there for breakfast with a coffee and a pastry. It was later at night, crying babies, busy, and a little messy. The doors open to a cute outside patio but it was muggy out so that attracted a lot of flies. There were also fruit flies and gnats flying near some of the pastry. I got a slice of the tiramisu cake and the chocolate flakes on top were really good.
