Food and service here are always great! Deserves higher rating. (6 one-star reviews 3 months ago are obviously because 1 disgruntled customer got others to gang up because of 1 unsatisfactory cake that probably had more to do with personal preference than quality. Not cool.)
Ordered their birthday cake for delivery and the cake was never delivered. They use DoorDash for delivery, it’s horrible DONT EVER USE THAT DELIVERY. I spent $70 total and they refused to give me a refund saying it’s doordash’s responsibility. Called DoorDash they said it’s not their fault. I would never come again.
I bought curry bread. But "Where" is Curry? Just like spread curry on the bread.
Why the hell the total review score is 3.7? It is perfect here. The same menu that the NYC location has. Also tastier. Sometime I find cronut and others were being sold for days as I can feel the cold temperature of the cream. Employees are nice and they do their best to keep the sitting area clean. Better almond Croissant than Nero. Tate is still best for all bakery section.
When the staff packed a piece of whipped cream cake, they grabbed it with their hands like a ball while packaging it. Several times, I politely asked them not to touch the cakes with their bare hands, but they said it was store policy to do so because the cakes might collapse otherwise. Because the cake had a film around it, they said it was completely fine to touch it with their bare hands. To prove their point, they even demonstrated by touching my cake again and again.
