Even though the process was simple, it takes quite a lot of time to go through the entire process. I had an expedited service and it took 5 years. The biggest and slowest part is paying, if you choose monthly payments, until it is paid in full they will not process anything. FYI if you need to appeal the Parole Board of Canada's decision, do it yourself otherwise you would have to pay for Pardon Applications of Canada to process it again at a cost of $1500.
