Update…Despite the problems I had with the billing department last year, I returned to this office, because there are few alternatives in Brevard. The exact same issue I dealt with in my first visit has happened again. A claim was submitted to my insurance company with the wrong diagnostic code. Because of that, my insurer denied the claim. I alerted the billing department to the problem, but it seems I am stuck in a very time-consuming and frustrating loop again. I was here last Tuesday for a scheuled appointment. I explained to the assisstant that I had been feeling really bad fo the past 9 days with severe chills constant headache and fatigue. She checked my temp, blood pressure and pulse and left the room. The doctor came in and I explained to him what was going on. He never addressed it. He listened to my lungs for 5 deep breaths and listened to my heart fo 20 seconds then told me I would need to go to the lab.
