There was a nice guy helping me with my ski boot problems. I thought they were too small because my toes kept crunching up and I thought I was going to have to buy new boots. But he sized me up and told me I was wearing the right size… so instead of selling me new expensive boots he told me I should try insoles in mine which could help with my scrunching problem. I love coming to Paramount any time I need advice on new gear for snowboarding & skiing. Prices are a little up there, sales more rare, but the customer service is outstanding. The staff all ride themselves so they’re super knowledgeable on all their products and can make solid recommendations. I always learn a lot from them! Also the new logo design is super sick! hope to see some stickers soon :)
Although Paramont Sports may not always be the least expensive place to purchase equipment, the exceptional customer service and genuine care more than compensate for any small price difference compared to other retailers with subpar service. Lee, the owner, consistently goes above and beyond with his time, knowledge, and attention. I’ve been shopping at Paramont Sports since 1986, and that level of service is exactly why I keep coming back.
One of the salespeople (or I don’t know if he’s the owner, the manager, or whatever), the short chubby guy is not professional at all. He looks down on you and acts arrogant. I asked him for some advice and politely just asked if there were any discounts, and he immediately started giving me attitude. But luckily, the rest of the staff were nice and very helpful.
