Paramount Senior Living at Bethel Park is a great place to have your family members. The sense of community is the best I have ever seen so far out of the nursing homes I've been to. The Activities and housekeeping are outstanding.
Terrible care for the amount of money you pay. Housekeeping does the bare minimum. Halls smell of urine. Food is always cold when delivered. Nursing department is short staffed and over worked. Workers walking around on cellphone having loud conversations on speaker phone. Alert pendants not answered for up to 45 minutes. Very nice looking facility but poorly ran. Went in the front door to look around last weekend. No one at the desk and the smell was overpowering. Turned right around and left.
They dont shower the clients as much as they should. Clients are not changed at night. They nickle and dime clients for everything even though they have a high monthly fee. There is an activity fee upon admission and there arent any activities most days. PLEASE look somewhere else.
Decent building but th rest is not good. My family member has been there for around six months. Particularly in the last few months, there have been issues that we have had to address with management. This was futile. It has reached the point of blatant neglect. Also, they keep adding unexplained charges to her bill. When asking about this, we are stonewalled. We are now at the point of looking at other places.
