Paramount is a borderline criminal organization. They denied my claim for an out of network consultation but offered an appeal process that they state will take 30 days. That was 90 days ago. They've ignored my initial appeal and the follow-up. If given the option don't use this company. ZERO regard to their policy holders.
Looking at how many complaints there are about the functionality of the website, and how long those complaints have been coming in, it's apparent to me they have no intention of fixing the problem. And believe the reviews, the problems are just as bad as they claim. When the website does hook up, you can type in a provider search for a hundred mile radius and it comes up with zero providers found and that's near a large city like Toledo, Ohio. I really hope you don't need medical care if you have this insurance and hope you don't need any information about your policy or coverages. The website never works, you cannot see what providers, what prescriptions, or what services are covered as all the links are broken. I tried to order a new ID card. Did the link work? Nope. The coverage is awful and everything in their "network" is more expensive with insurance than going to competitors with or without coverage. If you have an issue you will be able to talk to someone right here in the united states. Not a call center. When you call the call will be answered very fast. I hate being on hold. If it cost a few ectra dollars (parount) is so worth it. If you and your spouse are both on paramount there is a discount.
