The actual medical professionals I dealt with were good. The 'bordering on harassment' style of repeated calls to rebook an appointment I had to cancel because of the big ice storm this winter landed me with call harassment to the point they contacted my emergency contact, upsetting my entire family, like I was in the hospital or something. I will _never_ use a private, for profit "solution" to our engineered health care 'emergency'. Amazed, staff and the nurses there are always so friendly and greeting you by name when you arrive they let you know who you’re with and everything. I would love to refer anybody that needs their services to them. They are amazing Company I love ParaMed.
The Personal Support Workers (PSW's) do a very good job. But, staff (Coordination Team) at the ParaMed home office in London, Ontario, have continuously demonstrated the absolute worst customer service, incompetence with scheduling, and the most lack of organization I have ever seen. They are absolutely horrible. There seems to be a common denominator when reading the other reviews. If I could give zero stars I would. Ontario Health at Home assigned us this company to work with for PSW vists. No one showed up the first day. The second day someone finally came at 4pm and only stayed 10 minutes. Then back at 9pm for 30 minutes. The next day no morning visit again and no phone call until after 11. Someone finally showed up at 1:30, only came in the door for 5 minutes without even taking off their coat and shoes. Asked an elderly woman with dementia if she felt safe.
