Paragon Station, at 200 South and 300 West, is Utah's first LEED Gold Certified multifamily adaptive-reuse project. This means we've updated an original historic building (built in 1921) with new plumbing, geothermal heating, energy efficient windows, liberal insulating and reduced water use. We rented a 2 floor penthouse for over 2 years and could not recommend paragon for a number of reasons: the cleanliness and upkeep of the building is subpar, the requests for maintenance in the individual units were not done in a timely manner, if at all, and some not correctly or safely ( one of examples we experienced- we had a cleaning service come every week and every time they used the vacuum cleaner, the fuse blew on the first floor - this was “fixed” three times - and yet still kept happening.) Company took more than half our security deposit to repaint and carpet for normal wear & tear. We objected - they never responded. No on-site presence, so maintenance request tend to linger. Air conditioning was not working for a month during the height of summer… we got a small ($200 x2) credit vs a rent $5k+ / month rent. Would not recommend. Edit to owners response: not only was there no clear explanation, they never responded to our questions about it.
