RecommendedI was a bit leery about buying prescription glasses online since I specifically wanted Porsche Design. Then I discovered that Paradise Optical Hawaii was the only place that offered Porsche Design and Randolph Engineering in the entire State! I then visited Darrell and his wonderful staff in Waimalu. I highly recommend Paradise Optical Hawaii. The owner Darrell knows the products he sells in his shop well, and it is clear he cares about the relationships he has with customers and vendors. The customer service from him and his staff was excellent -- well above average. A wide selection of brands and prices of glasses and sunglasses is available at this shop in Waimalu. I purchased my RX coach and oakley frames two years ago without insurance and still got a great deal. They're very professional but treat you like you're apart of their family. I get text messages for vip Deals and events. One my favorite optical store.
The staff (Chris, Darryl, Patti, and Jon) are all very helpful and pleasant to work with. They are very knowledgeable and willing and patient to teach us about the product lines, e.g., Seiko and Lafont frames. (My husband and I ask a lot of questions.) Paradise Optical provides exceptional customer service. Plus, the Lafont frames are gorgeous.
