Since they redid the boat launch this place is awesome. The new loading dock is great and it's very easy for me to get my 14 and 1/2 ft tandem kayak in and out of the water. Plenty of parking as well.
Great launch for kayaks and smaller boats, at low tide it could be difficult for larger boats. Great for fishing, reds, trout and flounder. Oyster beds are exposed at low tide. Parking could be difficult at times, get there early in peek season or weekends. I didn’t see any restrooms.
Great little river access boat ramp, with two places to back a smaller boat such as a jon boat or jet skis. My wife and I launched our kayaks from here to paddle downriver and back. Pretty decent amount of parking in a gravel lot with a smaller dock and bench.
Do NOT Bring anything bigger than a Jon Boat. You will not be able to launch a bay boat or center console here. Ideal for Kayaks and small boats.
