I have taken all of my pets here and it's been nothing, but amazing service. They have taken amazing care of all my animals. I have spoken to hailey (not sure the spelling) at reception many times and shes very pleasant to speak with.
we adopted 2 kittens before we were evacuated from our home due to the Kingston wildfire. The stress of displacement, combined with intermittent thick smoke even miles away at our evacuation site gave the kittens respiratory health issues. I called other vets and they either didn't answer, didn't call back, or offered compassion with a earliest possible appointment date in November. Paradise offered a next day appointment, thorough and compassionate care for the kittens, for us, and our finances. I can't thank them enough.
I’ve taken my pets to various vets throughout St. John’s and Paradise animal hospital is my favourite through and through. They do not price gauge, are careful to present different care and price options when additional care is needed, and the walk in clinic is the best option for acute care that the city has.
Empathetic staff, compassionate care. Price was a little high but totally within the discussed range. Didn't even mention financing until the end once we were checking out. Overall a great experience and they got our little guy feeling better and were so caring towards us. This is the spot to take your animals
The vet would only give my dog a 5 day supply of medication at a time. After the 2nd 5 day supply, they wanted to do xrays before giving more medication. We were quoted $1500-$2000 for the xrays. We then brought him to a different vet where we were told xrays were unnecessary, and they provided a full 6 weeks worth of medication. My dog could be 3 weeks into his healing now if it wasnt for this greedy vet.
