So we all were down here on a wildland fire assignment. This establishment went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued. They threw pizza parties for the crews, made it possible for folks in the community to donate free meals, stayed open so those coming off the fireline late were taken care of, the works. We get many thanks from the places we go to fight fire, but this was extraordinary and memorable. Oh...the pizza rocks too.
Papis pizza and pasta graciously hosted a buffet for us firefighters working on the paradise and hagan fires In the area. The food was excellent and all of the staff were super friendly. I want to say thank you again to these lovely folks and I could not recommend this place enough.
The pizza was delicious! Friendly staff, very clean and great service. We were lucky that we stopped on the night they were honoring firemen and feeding them for free! It was amazing to witness the enthusiasm of the staff serving the firemen while praising the owner of Papi's and the community for contributing to the dinner.
Papis team offered a free dinner buffet to us firefighters while we were on assignment for the Hagen and Paradise fires. Wow, absolutely amazing! Some of the best lasagna I have had. Pizza great too. The owners and team are so sweet! Thank you very much from my crew and I.
