Last year (2025) I took Lara's Thai Immersion Class for 8 months. First if you have never had a session with Lara you're missing out . ..Amazing! Thai has always been my favorite massage to receive and Lara's Massage was nothing like anything I've experienced. Lara is such an amazing teacher, she takes her classes seriously, and teaches with intention. Her presence is nothing short of beautiful and I learn so much every time I step foot in her doors. I cannot wait to take another class. From a client standpoint her movements allow my body to relax enough to stretch and heal in ways I just can’t get anywhere else. I’m very picky with who can work on me and she is my absolute favorite Thai therapist.
I have had the pleasure of taking several of Lara's Thai massage classes, including her 202 hour Intensive Thai massage course; all of which have been incredible. I've learned more with Lara's classes this last 3 years than I have with any other teachers in the previous 10 years of my career. I truly appreciate the depth of knowledge each class offers, especially in Thai medical theory and Thai herbalism, which is rarely taught in the United States. I will continue to come back year after year for Lara's skillful expertise.
Lara is very experienced, kind, thorough and the location is very relaxing. Highly recommended.
Relief & Healing Yes, definitely schedule a massage with Lara at Papillon Bodywork! I have gone to many, many massage therapists over the past 40 years looking for relief from neck and back pain caused by a car accident.
