This food truck did not disappoint!!! The Owner Isaiah was awesome and made the experience even better. His passion for BBQ bled straight onto the very paper plate he handed me. I was told only on Saturdays he serves beef ribs...hot damn, It was like I died and went to heaven. We often take it to go. Even though we ate it there this time, No pictures still.
So. I was in Eugene for the day and had some time for a walk. As I was walking down W. 5th at about 7am I smelled the smoke of BBQ, looked around, saw a food truck with smoke rising from the back. I walked around and found Isaiah, the owner, throwing on some chicken thighs and briskets for tomorrow's guests. We chatted, talked about BBQ, Eugene and life in general. I stopped here to get some brisket and was very impressed! It was perfectly cooked with excellent flavor. Meat wise, I would rank it just shy of Matt’s in PDX. However, the vibe here is much more of what a true Oregon cart should be.
