We are very happy to have dr Papanikolaou as our baby's urologist. He has always been very courteous, focused and thorough. Professional and gentle with the baby, he patiently answered the questions from both of us scared parents and reached out to ensure that we received proper care. Waited many years for surgery with no clear explanation - first blamed on COVID, then nothing. No follow-ups, poor communication, and a dismissive attitude throughout. The prolonged delay caused significant mental distress. Eventually went to a different hospital and had the surgery done within a year.
I've been a patient of Dr. Papanikolaou for a number of years. I recommend him strongly as a good urologist, and a friendly, informative and calming part of this process.
We have dealt with Dr Papanikolaou for 2.5 years and he has been so amazing. His reassurance and kindness really helped us through our sons pre/post operation experience. His team is consistent with communication and quick to respond when we reach out with concerns. As we reach the end of our journey with him, we are so grateful to have had him as our sons doctor of care. An extremely knowledgeable doctor. Thank you and your team so much.
On final follow-up appointment After one year of treatment for my Prostrate, and Inconsistency, Dr. Papapnikolaou didn't tell me if I need to continue taking medicine. I informed him that one of my main issue of inconsistency has not improved, to which he replied this issue will not be solved even if you go for surgery. So, no more repeat of any medication nor surgery - I am lost as to what I am supposed to do !!! Very Casual and indifferent attitude.
