Papachay Coffee Estate, located in the middle of the rain forest at 4100 feet above sea level in Villa Rica, Peru. What makes our coffee unique is the combination of the high elevation, less oxygen, coffee is shade gown, coffee bushes grow under the native canopy of trees, replacing only the forest floor undergrowth, because of that the ecosystem remains healthy and self-sustaining no pesticides or fertilizers are used in our coffee plantation. When I stopped by with some bike troubles, they went above-and-beyond to help me out, welcome me, and give me coffee. What a lovely family.
The empanadas that ever had!
The perfect little coffee shop! I think it's a husband and wife team who run the place, it really shows. Friendly atmosphere, one of the best capuchinos I've ever had, and the empanadas are also out of this world. Can't wait to come back!
Love the mocha here! Also try out the vegan empanadas — really tasty.
