Delacruz was not very helpful, said inappropriate things to me and never gave me a clear plan on what to do next with my problem. Went to a new doctor and was told in my paperwork from her I was taking a medication that I was not.
Dr. DeLaCruz saw me as an inpatient at St. Alexius after I had emergency exploratory surgery post hysterectomy for concern of internal bleeding. I was in absolute excruciating uncountable pain. I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a medical facility. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was being treated like a burden rather than a patient. The medical assistant was extremely unprofessional and rude. She looked visibly irritated and tired—which I understand, long shifts happen—but that’s not an excuse to take it out on patients.
