Store bought, Price to high, WORST EVER!!!! – I wish you could leave zero stars. The first time I ate there I got the combo turkey/sausage sandwich and fries. I had about three bites and then let my partner try it and he said the same thing disgusting. Fries were old and nasty. Sweet and spicy cole slaw tasted like store bought Zarda. Prices too high, food is not bad though – I should say up front that I am a former regular of Papa Bob's, I'd eat lunch there at least once a week. Papa Bob's will never win an award for best BBQ in Kansas City, although that is expecting a little too much for this pleasantly quaint establishment in Bonner Springs. not impressed, not sure why people like the place – I live near there and have made the mistake of eating there three times, twice at the restaurant and once at a festival. I went to the restaurant and the ribs were horrible. Tougher than beef jerky, dry and burned. The second time I went there I had to wait long enough that I wasn't hungry, but tried some of my wife's burger and it was dry and lacked flavor. It basically tasted as if it sat in a pan all day. Papa Bob's Bar-B-Que – Best Bar-B-Que I've ever had and consistantly prepared. Huge portions. You have to see this place. It is so cute and cozy, you will love it. Bob, Judy and the staff always make you feel relaxed and welcome. Worth the drive. Everything I've tried is excellent; burnt ends, turkey sandwich, smoked chicken, catfish, beans, sweet potato fries, onion rings, horseradish pickles....For sure, you won't leave hungry or disappointed.
