I pulled out a final drive from the excavator to replace a seal. I stripped it all apart, except the hydraulic motor. All I had left was to press the bearing out, put a new seal, and press it back in. When I got to "Pape machinery"in Fife they told me it's going to cost me one hour of labor, which is fine. My experience was first rate from start to finish. Robert was professional, patient and absolutely honest. He was very thorough throughout the entire process. He stayed late at the shop to meet with me and answered my calls at all hours. He put together a package that fit my needs and hit the mark. I couldn't be happier with my tractor and implements. I came in to purchase a new 2032R with a front end loader and mower. Burt was the sales person who approached us. Burt said he would work up a deal for us and arrange delivery on Monday the next week. He told me to bring in 4 gallons of antifreeze on Saturday and he would prep the machine. Flash forward to Monday Burt wouldn't return my calls. I finally get him on the phone and he tells me it will be a couple more days. Well, after a couple more days he still won't return my calls. Everything about this "business" is terrible. No communication amongst the employees and an extreme lack of professionalism. The mechanic is a joke. Very unprofessional and will give complimentary damage to anything you bring in for repair! Brought in a practically new piece of equipment for a simple seal replacement and got it back, after almost 3 weeks, with scratches and dents all over. But wait....that's our fault apparently. The guy even admitted to the scratches because he walked all over it. Save yourself a headache a... read more
