Things are fuct, these guy just trying to make a living
9 warranty claims on a new 5100M with 197hrs in 16 months. Down for 4 months. Lost 3 weeks during hay season without a replacement. Had 2 hydraulic leaks, 2 bad batteries (JD warranty doesn't cover) + electrical problem, 2 failed roof seals, received it with a broken side mirror, both tail lights and a grease zerk. This was a new machine. Genuinely helpful people in the service department, not so with sales... John Deere. Your reliability, service and warranty leave a lot to be desired.
Ordering online and having parts shipped will save you time and agony. The parts counter personnel are less then helpful.
