I went to the ER for appendicitis. From the moment I stepped in I was greeted by friendly people who got me in very quickly. The staff, including the transporters, were really kind and seemed very organized. I was back in the ER room and met with the surgeon who I think is a top doc! He was kind, compassionate, spoke to me like a human being and not just a number. Explained everything to me and answered my questions. If you ever have an emergency, and this was next door to your home, and there's no other patients, go somewhere else. These guys abandoned me for 6 hours in the waiting room with an IV in my arm, no fluids, just the needle. After not doing anything for all that time, I finally just got up, asked them to remove the IV, just for them to then report to my insurance that I left and refused care. No one wants to have to go to the emergency room. It can be a frightening experience all around. But, when you are met with compassionate, caring nurses, it is a godsend. I wanted to come here a day later and thank Matt, in particular, a nurse who spent extra heart, care and time with a family member who was so very afraid. It seem very nice . Fast and nice staffs , when we pull up the nurse came out helping with the wheel chair. And no waiting goes very smoothly
