I have been in the automotive repair industry for more than 30 years. I am ASE Master certified. However, health reasons forced me to “semi-retire” from full time auto repair. I have a BMW. It had an overheating issue. I took it to BMW who “diagnosed” it and told me it would be $9,000 to fix. I showed the estimate to Panzer and they told me they would look it over for me. They even sent a tow truck to BMW to pick it up for me. They found that BMW added a bunch of work that was not necessary and fixed the problem for one third of BMW estimate . DO NOT TRUST these dealers. Have Panzer look at it first. Can’t thank them enough. Would give them as many stars as google would let me.
The original estimate for the work I wanted done turned out to be overly hopeful at 403$. The real cost estimate ended up at over 5 thousand. My old BMW needs more money than it is worth and it is sad to see her end her useful life. None of the three jobs we hope to accomplish got done, but for 403$ I know that my car is a big flaming pile of trash. 😁
