While speaking to Laura, I'm not understanding why I have to pay upfront and the payment can't be taken out of my refund, she stated "I have a very lucrative business and I don't need you." Apparently she thinks the IRS is going to keep my refund and she won't get paid, so I have to pay upfront. I've never experienced this before so I was genuinely confused. Assuming the IRS will keep my refund and that statement after I pushed back was uncalled for.
