We have known and trusted Dr Michael Drewek since 2014. His expertise is amazing and we have had a great experience every time we’ve gone to him. He is exemplary in every way… always pleasant, explains everything in detail, and performs with the utmost care and professionalism at all times. Dr Drewek has performed spinal surgeries on both my husband and myself with amazing results! This neurosurgeon is hands down the best of the best and we highly recommend him!

I was referred to Dr. Hugate by my doctor of over 27 years (who did my left hip replacement) because my right hip replacement was going to be a bit tricky. I was born with hip dyslexia so I have had hip issues my entire life. My first hip replacement (left) was when I was 24 (27 years ago) and my right hip was replaced at 51. Went to visit Dr Drewek after almost 2 years from my neck fusion to discuss a weakness in left arm. X-RAY of my neck looked great fusion looked excellent. He spoke with his shoulder Dr for my issue. Shoulder Dr said because there’s no pain he eliminated that source. He ordered a couple other tests to reach a source of the weakness. I feel extremely confident with Dr Drewek’s expertise and professionalism.
No more suffering! Explained everything in detail. Not a worry after that. After day 4 did not need to take anything stronger than tylonal and Alieve. Been using a cane since day 11. Slight limp, and have to give my leg a little help lifting into the car. Feel great! Thank you is not enough!
You have to wait a long time at appointments for him. They’re very efficient and organized which means you don’t get a whole lot of time with him. But he does more lapiplasty fixes than anyone around. He fixed my left foot a couple years ago and now will fix my right. I highly recommend starting PT ASAP (2 weeks?) because the scar tissue otherwise is painful and problematic
