We stayed at the Taynton lodge for 3 days of skiing. Been to a number of other major ski resorts and this is by far the best layout for ski in/out. I'd highly recommend for families with young kids. The conditions were fantastic for late spring so got pretty lucky. One small thing I really appreciated I want to point out. One bedroom had a king bed that needed to be split into 2 twins. Make certain you're able to make your stay if you book a room at the resort, they won't refund the deposit even if you cancel the next day after booking with a trip 3 months out. I understand their policy, and it is ultimately my fault for not confirming we'll be able to go - but losing $300 with no leniency when the booking is so far out leaves a pretty bad taste. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary here and overall was a good experience when we last stayed, but we unfortunately we won't be going back.
