Food isn't the best and pretty pricey for what you get.. standard room and the bathroom is tiny. I've stayed about 5 times and I do believe previous owners cared more and actually remembered you..
Even though it was the lead to the Bathurst 1000 race, and the motel was busy, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was busy, and had entertainment. Those that didn't need daily room service, were rewarded with a voucher that could be used at the restaurant. Very well located and easy to find.
Room was crawling with crickets!!! Counted three under my bed at once with removing three from the room prior. Could barely sleep with them chirping and jumping onto my bed. Cracked bathroom tiles too. Downright shocking.
The room I stayed in was freshly renovated and well appointed. The Bistro food was fantastic and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this place, even if you were just stopping by for a drink. Great atmosphere.
