He gave an inj with out asking if I had taken triamcinolone acetonide inj before ,another doctor had given it to my hip . I went on vacation both feet were swollen developed more rashes these symptoms are side effects of the inj . My feet are still swollen and I continue to have the rashes some times we blindly trust doctors and they don't have the decency to explain the risks of the meds, the dermatologist gave me the same thing as topical even after I explained how I got the rashes
Dr Kaw diagnosed me with “ just arthritis “ twice even when i advised him it was more than that maybe even a torn meniscus. He said it was not a torn meniscus . i wanted an mri and he said my insurance won’t pay for it as it’s just arthritis i ended up insisting on it and the mri shows a torn meniscus…. will NOT go back to him again!
Went to see Dr Kaw for a shoulder injury. When I first injured it the emergency room doctor who treated me felt I had a torn rotator. Dr Kaw assured me it was just arthritis because of certain movements I could do. No physical therapy or MRI ordered. Months after injury still can't raise my arm and weakness in arm. Went to new Ortho who suspected torn rotator and ordered MRI. Results were a torn rotator that I could have been treating months ago. Not happy.
Met Dr. Kaw for the first time today. I was very nervous because I'd had a cortizone injection in my shoulder many years ago and it was extremely painful. His nurse was wonderful and friendly. But when I met Dr Kaw, I was blown away. He was so kind and nice and assured me the injection wouldn't hurt. Truth be told, I didn't even feel it. I asked when he was going to do it and he said he already had! Dr. Kaw is excellent. He was kind, caring, and professional. He took the time to examine me as well as explain several treatment options. I highly recommend Dr. Kaw.
