First and foremost, I believe this is a quality organization. If someone thinks it's a place for poseurs, so be it. But I look for consistency and quality. Price isn't that important to me. If you're making minimum wage, stick to your PB&J or tuna sandwich brown bagging it, this isn't for you. I have yet to get a bad sandwich or salad. Obviously, a bad day for an employee may result in a sub-par product, but that's anywhere. I have not been to panera bread in a while. Mostly because I feel I can get better quality food at any other restaurant, for a better price. Tonight I ordered a tomato and mozzarella flattered. First there was a sprinkle of mozzarella if any and one tomato slice and a ton ton of oil and basil. My 1/2 salad literally consisted of a 1/2 cup of spring lettuce 1 cucumber a piece of tomato and 6 onions.
