I used to frequent this location when you could sit in and eat, before it was renovated. I decided to go today since it was in the area. I walked in the door, the employee at the register looked at me, then went back to what she was doing. I ordered online so I went directly to the pick up window. I was missing a salad and instead of correcting the mistake, the manager pretty much accused me of lying because “their scale wouldn’t have had the wrong weight in it” which is a stupid excuse. I will admit I got aggressive and asked if she wanted to come check to make sure I wasn’t stealing, but she shouldn’t have accused me of lying. She wasn’t wearing a name tag so I don’t know her name, but she needs to check herself because I wouldn’t lie about a salad that I paid for. The Panera down in the South Loop is my favorite place when I need to get some work done and grab a quick lunch. Went in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was busy but the line moved really fast. Got the pick two combo with broccoli cheddar soup and a turkey bacon bravo sandwich. The soup was hot and the baguette on the side was super fresh. Found a quiet table by the window and the wifi actually worked great. The workers were super friendly.

We finally managed to snag a table despite the rain and after-work rush. It was surprisingly easy to find seating, and the food was good. A reliable stop for a quick bite when you need something familiar.
